Complaining is easy. And even when you complain, and someone comments to give another perspective that is not necessarily seen as a rebuke. But posting something positive and getting slammed in the comments? That's depressing. So the b

This is brutal. The examples just kept on coming. Halfway through the article I assumed it must have a bunch of comments under it, but nope. More brutal examples

Pulling ahead? Depends on the usecase I guess. 3 turns into a very basic Gemini-CLI session and Gemini 3 Pro has already messed up a simple `Edit` tool-call. And it's awfully slow. In 27 minutes it did 17 tool calls, and only managed t

> They went too far, now the Flash model is competing with their Pro version Wasn't this the case with the 2.5 Flash models too? I remember being very confused at that time.

It has always been like this. It's a super simple system. All artists are only identified by their name. So there are a ton of artist pages out there that actually have to represent multiple artists with the same name. It's kinda

I've been reverse engineering a few old games I used to play a lot. Traffic Giant, Creatures 2, ... It's been interesting.

It's kind of funny how not a lot of people realize this. On one hand this is a feature: you're able to "multishot prompt" an LLM into providing the wanted response. Instead of writing a meticulous system prompt where you

> despite things being, well, entirely underwhelming People use LLMs for all kinds of things, but for coding it is absolutely not underwhelming. Can you treat it as a real independent developer, one that doesn't need supervision? No

I switched to Ly a few weeks ago, after SDDM kept crashing. And I switched to SDDM because GDM did the same thing earlier. They both were caught in some kind of crash-loop that it was impossible for me to switch to another virtual console.

Yes. Opus is now the default model in Claude Code. And Opus 4.5 counts the same toward your usage limit as Sonnet 4.5 did. Even better: Sonnet 4.5 now has its own separate limit.

I think you're both correct. Gemini is _still_ not that good at agentic tool usage. Gemini 3 has gotten A LOT better, but it still can do some insane stupid stuff like 2.5

I noticed one single API error a few hours ago. Didn't seem to be down for long. (I prefer the occasional downtime here and there versus Gemini's ridiculous usage limits)

The furthest distance a robot on mars has traveled from its landing position isn't even 50km. Over many, many years. For example, on Nasa's website it says this about Perseverance: > This map view shows the route NASA’s Perseve

Last night, just after Gemini 3 was released and became available for Gemini-CLI, I saw Gemini-CLI's team post that you could access Gemini 3 with either an API key OR with _Gemini AI Ultra_, so I thought: great, I'll get that! No

The article claims Claude Sonnet 3.5 was released less than 9 months ago, but this is wrong. Claude 3.5 was released in june 2024. Maybe he has been writing this article for a while, maybe he meant Claude Code or Claude 4.0

I like these kind of themes in theory, but they're always a bit janky. Not that they have to be pixel perfect, but they're always broken enough that they're not a pleasure to use.

I'm porting my HTML template engine from Node.js to, well, Java. I've started to love Java over the past few years, and ever since discovering TeaVM I wanted to use it on the browser too so... here we are.

Gemini might be a good model, it is _incredibly_ shit in tool calls and it has this incredibly tendency to multishot itself to death. When using their own gemini-cli tool, it's impossible to take it seriously, it's that bad. For e
