It's a bad example anyway since Mondriaan has been dead since 1944 and all copyright on his works have expired.

We don't do that in Flanders. My husband's name is "Roel Van Gils". People (and computer systems) from the Netherlands do automatically change this to "Roel van Gils" but they are wrong. Also, in Flanders, when

Oh wow, I completely forgot about Flattr. Thinking about it again, I quite liked the idea. But I guess it never really caught on enough.

I've been using Wayland for 5 years now. Never had any serious issues with it either. I have always used AMD GPUs though.

Agreed. Leaving work unfinished, knowing what to do next, is for me the best way to be unable to fall asleep at night. That code just has to get out. I have no problem stopping something when I feel stuck though.

Depends on if they know how to use it. A lot of people still think it's just a google and wikipedia replacement. It doesn't really do anything super useful in that case.

Most people I know that actually use ChatGPT, use the free (GPT3.5) version. Not a lot of people are willing to pay the extra 20 euros per month.

Aren't a lot of base models fine-tuned with (Q)Lora on instruct-based datasets with good results? I thought this was a very common practice?

I'm good for a 30 minute shift either way if we can forever stop talking about this. I really like the extra hour of sunshine in the Summer time, I would miss it. And to think this proposal would even take away an extra hour on top of

It is actually only the mastodon implementation that forces the size limit. It can actually be any size. I forked the original repo and had to change 2 variables to be able to toot 5000 characters instead of 500.

I've used vast.ai to do some fine-tuning just a few days ago. It is indeed pretty great, though some servers fail to start up properly, or have some weird performance issues. I also wish they had more templates to try.
