I tried not to have multiple frameworks controlling the same DOM elements. It would usually be a React component mounted to a DOM element controlled by a component in another framework.

Can you elaborate on this? I've integrated React into Angular and Ember projects in the past with no compatibility issues.

I believe 2D canvas rendering is performed on the CPU rather than the GPU.

Quick note about the section on "Relative paths": `fs` paths _are_ relative to `process.cwd()` but `__dirname` reflects the directory that contains the current file. Those two directories are not necessarily the same thing.

Looks cool but I would be uncomfortable using this over HTTP, not HTTPS. Don't really want to risk a MITM when installing software on your machine (and giving it UAC _and_ your password).

Thanks for the detailed response. I'll keep this all in mind next time I need to choose a DB for even a small project.

I really want an excuse to build something with CouchDB and PouchDB ( https://pouchdb.com/ ). Can you expand on your experiences with it?

`postMessage()` works between ANY window references -- tabs or frames. As long as you have a reference to the window (which you will if you call `window.open()`) then you can post messages to it.

FYI for the GitLab guys: 404 pages are being served without a Content-Type header (e.g. http://pages.gitlab.io/404/ -- shows HTML in plain text).

Sure. And it's easy to copy and paste into a few different projects that you maintain. What happens, however, when you decide to use multiple characters instead of a single character (to create a pattern for example)? Now your padding

My project didn't 'use' left-pad -- yet it was affected by its removal. The story here is not about the specific project that was removed but that in the npm architecture it is possible for a single maintainer to negatively a

Keep in mind that `String.prototype.repeat` exists in far fewer contexts than a simple loop. The whole point of using a module is that you don't have to worry about _how_ it works when implementing it in your project.

Fun fact! `cd` is equivalent to `cd ~` -- that is to say that the directory is optional and defaults to $HOME.
