Thanks for your comment. I don't think it's that hard. Take a middle/high-end smartphone phone. Install something like Maru OS (but preinstalled and with OEM support). That's it. I agree with the cooling problems, but a

One thing that has always astounded me is the fact that the following script can be executed without any special permission (apart from execution, read and write): rm -rf ~ A key to a more modern file system would be a much more gr

Tangentially, I have a concern with neural-symbolic hybrids, surely someone can address it. Do you think that symbols produced by a neural network (in a complex enough task) will ever be comprehensible by a human? Because my intuition here

Noob question, having played around with CUDA and NVCC a bit: in languages such as Julia or Python, why does every algorithm have to be specifically adapted to be able to run on GPUs? Couldn't algorithms be written from higher level bu

Check out: https://commando.io , it is essentialy the SaaS you are describing. I'd pay for your service provided it had the following improvement over Commando.io: VPN support. Most SSH accounts I manage do require VPN. I do

If computers are Turing complete, then humans are, too. Computers do not have infinite memory, yet they are usually considered Turing complete because theoretically you could keep adding additional memory when needed. The same holds for hum

I mostly agree with you, but still think that Python could be way simpler and equally powerful. I'd love to see a language similar to Python, but with named structs instead of classes, for instance.
