The devil here is in the details. Solar energy (and you left out, crucially, storage) still isn't feasible for the worlds poor yet, though it is the obvious solution to the problem. My biggest issue with advancements in solar power + s

The thing that makes me chuckle gleefully when Apple does things like this is that I know that the people that make up Google as a company are massive fans of Apple products. Ouch.

I work in corporate and desktop applications are very clearly being phased out in favor of the web. I see this trend accelerating so for once it seems Microsoft has read the tea leaves correctly.

It was a fantastic episode. Someone there made the very sobering observation that the solution to the problem was to price water the way we price oil. That way we would redouble our efforts not to waste it. But then that only really ends up

It's becoming so complicated that I'm struggling to come up with ideas for how to get my 13 year old nephew interested in web development. When he was born I used to dream of having him look at a button on a web page and him askin

There's a culture on twitter now, of "exposing" viral tweets (usually jokes) for having been stolen from less prominent people on the platform. I think it's great despite the obvious pettiness attached to the practice.
