SVE2 seems great though [0]. It looks at least as nice to use as AVX512. Graviton3 has SVE2, though I'm not sure what vector length they use. [0]: https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ddi0602/2021-09/S

Bose definitely also uses a mic for their adaptive EQ. I wouldn't be surprised if Ikea did as well. IIRC they use Sonos tech.

You need a seal to get significant bass from earbuds. the non pro airpods do not make a seal (by design).

Your premise is incorrect. There are high end Windows laptops with chassis just as thin as MacBooks. See the Surface or XPS family.

The entire rest of the book provides examples. There’s even a direct comparison between initializing a scene in an OOP way vs a DOD way in the next chapter.

Go to any other chapter for plenty of code snippets. The first chapter is more meant to motivate than explain.

You can definitely get some incredibly elegant and fast solutions using Rust. Check out timvisee's AoC 2020 [0]. It honestly had a significant impact on my personal style. [0]: https://github.com/timvisee/advent-of

The regular M1 uses far less peak power than the M1 Pro/Max. They’re definitely still far more efficient than competitors though.

the 13" ones cool themselves fine. They can usually keep the CPU at higher power for longer than other ultrabooks. The 15" models definitely have worse thermals than the competition though.

Could I ask what feature they were looking for? I haven't used Flutter in a while, but it left a good impression. I remember being far less annoyed using Flutter than I am using other declarative frameworks like SwiftUI.

I remember hearing about how the M1 Macs were very quick to get displays running when they were plugged in and to change the display configuration. I guess the DCP is why.
