How would you regulate it? The jobs aren't specified by the time it takes to do them, they're specified by the task that needs to be accomplished. This is unlike a typical minimum wage job, like in retail, where a cashier just nee

Memories are stored in the hippocampus, the changes took place in the occipito-temporal cortex. I'm not a neuroscientist, but my understanding is that the changes were directly related to processing, not memory.

Nope, learning physically changes the brain. For example, learning to juggle will increase certain portions of their brain. [1] It's like running Crysis, and having your video card's capability increase, 1. http://www.p

Most standards are not set by the government, they're set by professional organizations. See ANSI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_National_Standards_Ins... Safety standards ARE often set by the government,

I don't think battery swapping is a great idea. The problem is that the battery is such a huge part of the car's cost. I can only guess, but I would estimate $15,000-20,000. Getting someone else's poorly treated battery could

AFAIK C is by far the most prevalent language for embedded systems, which are typically the applications FPGA's are also used for.

I guarantee the things you are thinking of are implemented in microcontrollers, not FPGA's. FPGA's aren't even that good at state machine type logic - they excel in parallel tasks which make the most use of each (longer) cloc
