Thus "_time_ and money to spend." Studying for a year or two at Stanford would probably come out on top of most opportunity cost comparisons, absent a pretty compelling plan in some other direction.

If you have the time and money to spend (or it's otherwise paid-for) and a spot at a top 5 program--why not?

I think you have a very different idea of what constitutes "mainly HTML."

If you early-exercise there should be no spread at all between the strike price and taxable quasi-value. Early exercise is a solid choice, provided the strike price is low enough such that exercising is not a major expense / unreasonab

Bit of a stale thread, but I was thinking of 9600 as having a somewhat short window of use by personal / noncommercial users. I spent a great proportion of my teenaged lawn-mowing income on a USR HST 14.4 in perhaps 1991, but it wasn&

I was about to add exactly this. Setwise operations, map/transform, aggregate, avoidance of mutable state, filters, avoidance of if/for with break conditions, quite strong avoidance of exceptions.

I feel you're being pedantic. The misunderstanding is not around the concept of a birthday, yes--it's due to the use of a time-having datetime datatype for this purpose, in UI and/or application server or database layers, th

There should be no time component to a properly-stored birthdate. One doesn't observe a "January 1 in Australia" birthday on December 31 in New York. Systems that presume a birthday to be other than a year+month+dayofmonth
