There's also Agent Ransack for searching file content. I don't use Windows much nowadays, but ripgrep and fzf are sure handy on linux and mac.

Wasn't looking for the definition, having studied thermodynamics as an undergrad, just surprised that a nonfunctional cooling system might be cast in such terms. Like, you don't start by noticing the engine's increased therm

Out of curiosity, do you recall any more context around referring to an engine (combustion engine?) in terms of adiabatic process? I'm just a bit puzzled how this might come up in relation to a car.

You're describing fragmentation, not multi-cloud resiliency or diversification. Think "something catastrophic has happened to AWS but the business can still ship orders because the required services are also running in Azure.&quo

The gist is that you will not be able to move the needle with any effectiveness. Reduce the federal budget by 30% by force of will, or what? This is "first, convert 1kg lead to 1kg gold" level thinking.

> You're lucky if it's RoR or Node; you could be stuck with Go or PHP What the heck? My strong sense nowadays is that most junior-mid engineers would be excited to use Go and disappointed to touch Rails.

Misleading title, Zoom doesn't divulge the password hash, but also doesn't prevent users from clicking on UNCs. Having fallen out of paying attention to Windows Server over the past few years, I'd be a little surprised if the

It took a moment to get the zeitgeist connection--one of Cornholio's few intelligible phrases is "I need TP for my bunghole." Wikipedia used to host a comically erudite page about Cornholio, e.g. studiously noting such discre

Yep. Food cost is usually about 1/3 of the bill; 1/3 to rent and overhead, 1/3 to staff. If a few percent can be squeezed from any of those areas, there's the restaurant's profit.
