Have you got a source for OS X DHCP being vulnerable? OS X has a copy of bash at /bin/sh so it's pretty vulnerable if you can find a way to remotely set environment variables and call system().

This assumes that system() is calling bash, but it usually calls /bin/sh, which is often linked to something other than bash (for example, dash is used on recent Ubuntu and Debian installs).

I'm on 10.9.4 and I ran into a bunch of problems (which seem to be covered by github issues[1] already). [1] https://github.com/jipegit/OSXAuditor/issues/27

Did you read the Introduction from pp1-12 of HoTT? I thought it was a pretty good overview.

Parentheses are rarely needed in Haskell. You can even use the $ operator to specify the order of evaluation, eg. concat $ replicate 3 "foo" == concat (replicate 3 "foo").

That makes sense. It's confusing though because "object" gets a monospace font but "type" doesn't.

If the author is reading this thread, I spotted this type-o: Type type claims that it's a subclass of object.

In most common law countries judges are not elected and don't get away with the kind of thing discussed in the article (like informal ex parte conferences).

Why are working hours in the medical industry so crazy? It doesn't seem to be in anyone's interest.

Those are soft hyphens, which supplement the crappy hyphenation support built in to most browsers. w3m should probably just ignore them, but it looks like your version is broken[1]. [1] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/b

I use Vimium and I like it, but it's crippled by Chrome's extension model. Extensions aren't really part of the browser, they run in the context of the page you're looking at. This means Vimum's shortcuts don't

That is not true for all nations. Australians can apply for an E-3 visa, which is essentially an indefinitely-renewable H-1B with fewer restrictions and no lottery.

That's a really cool idea. I'm always commenting my code with reference strings because format strings are so unreadable.

Arguably, the Wikileaks summary goes too far in claiming that the order "forbids any discloures (sic), by publication or otherwise, of any information relating to the court case by anyone." The order is limited to disclosure that

I think they can prevent publication in other states actually. Under s 2 of the Australia Act, State legislative powers can have extra-territorial operation. So even though there is no physical connection to Victoria, I think the situation

It's also naive to think that the terms of the order are "contradictory" and indicate a failed attempt by the judge to clothe political action in legal terms. The judge is just applying the legislation passed by Victoria'

I did electronics in year 10 in Perth around that time. It was a pretty neat class, we got to program a PIC as well as learn some basic circuit design stuff.
