There was a discussion yesterday that LLM generated “Show HN” posts should be moved to another thread :) Nevertheless, it looks nice but I can’t be sure that texts are correct. Did OP check everything because she/he knows deeply the to

I have talked with some friends who are long-time programmers (20+ experience). Even they (all) admit that they use Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity or AI Studio - you name it. So in future everything’s gonna be “agentic”, (un)

Everytime I start to discuss LLM/AI with non-IT people it is the same. Absurd expectations. Or denial of AI. But as CEOs like Altman, Musk or Amodei have some much space in media, they can amplify their products - as good salesmen :) I

This applies when there is a large number of competitors. Now companies are fighting for the attention of a finite number of customers, so they keep their prices in line with those around them. I remember when Google started with PPC - beca

Some people have been saying for so long that you should need a license to use the internet, and now that we have it, it's a little different than we intended :(

Well done. If I could suggest, please make green colors more distinct in sentiment split wheel, they seem to be very similar now.

If 80% of their paying customers are vibe coders then it makes sense to make IDE “easy” for them. “Hey, Claude, make a website. Don’t make mistakes.” Or, it could serve as a textbook example how to make your real future long term customers

E-mail was always asynchronous communication tool. For people who like to see waving three dots in iPhone chat, e-mailing makes them anxious. So I understand that apology is quite normal. It is a sort of generational difference, imho.

The behavior of corporations is shameful. After all, people in these companies don't work for free and are able to spend a lot of money for other services.

I have checked right now that Multi-User Dungeons we played in the 90s, still exist and are played. 35 years later! Telnet or Mudnet client needed :) I’ve just poked my schoolmate - he almost didn’t graduate because of MUD.

Some people don’t like to be pushed. They want their own rhythm. But when you stop trying new stuff (“because you don’t want to”), it is a sign that your inner child got lost. (Or you have a depression or burnout.)

I have nothing against forking ofc. I like it. But I really don’t like laziness when there is no contribution to original project - instead those codies make the project as their, in fact it is just a (poor) fork. The result is the mess. My

Because forking is new coding /s (What we see is natural entropy of systems. Wannabe codies fork a repo… and instead of contributing to original one they make their own copy. What will happen if you repeat this a few times? ;)

No, you have similar experience as a lot of people have. LLMs just fail (hallucinate) in less known fields of expertise. Funny: Today I have asked Claude to give me syntax how to run Claude Code. And its answer was totally wrong :) So you g

Yup. I have found out recently that Grok-4.1-fast has similar pricing (in cents) but 10x larger context window (2M tokens instead of ~128-200k of gpt-4-1-nano). And ~4% hallucination, lowest in blind tests in LLM arena.
