Yes it is pretty common in the US at least, a nasal/throat swab is taken for a rapid influenza A/B screen- and if positive can be confirmed by PCR. http://www.cdc.gov/flu/professionals/diagnosis/clin

Just adding my two cents to this discussion as someone who prescribes this stuff and has taken care of people with liver failure. Agree that acetaminophen/tylenol/paracetamol is the safest OTC and non-OTC analgesic within the

Just curious- would you have to do HIPAA courses, or get any other certifications for medical transcription? It seems like it would be a long hiring process.

Not sure what you mean by checking for inconsistencies, but a good statistical package would be able to handle this pretty well -- You could use Stata, or R with R studio (free)
