Given the prevalence of the “all taxes are bad” narrative that’s effectively cut taxes over the past couple of decades I’m not surprised. The money has to come from somewhere, so if the honest way of getting money is blocked the dishonest o

It’s a super frustrating thing about the US. They’ll say ‘this summer’, but being in the Southern Hemisphere it’s winter. Month names are so much easier. Next rant: which Timezone are we talking about.

This seems like a game-changing system, certainly for some tumours. I do wonder about the bacteria entering the wider environment though, but given it's a common bacteria I guess there's plenty of existing research in to that. Mak

I'd agree with you, though in modern english the countable/uncountable distinction is getting blurred (see less/fewer for example). Just part of the evolution of language I guess.

I sort of agree, but in jurisdictions with low corporate taxes and high personal ones you’ll find a lot of small contracting companies that hold a lot of personal assets.

I’m not sure what you mean here. The GPU is a specialized parallel compute element, it doesn’t do general purpose calculations with complex branch conditions very well. That’s why it can be so massively parallel. The CPU conversely does com
