...and rightfully so since Amazon entered the space back in October. That's a killer blow to a business that has struggled since it went public.

I'm currently subscribed and using it. I'm an amazon prime subscriber who makes several purchases a month and so far it's returned $1.68 back to me. As a free service, awesome.

I'm kinda jealous of job titles that would come out of this department... "Director of Planetary Defense", "Strategic Interstellar Command Coordinator", "Chief Planetary Defense Officer".

Same can be said about wine, micro brews, etc and is applicable only to your avg consumer. Those really invested in great coffee can dial things down to the region the bean was grown in.

They did nothing wrong. That's also not the point. The point is this guy feared for his life and that's the state of things for a black male in this country. To stand there and hope/pray people stay around to witness a situat

That's great they took down the content but they failed to mention compensating the content creators who in all likelihood generate income from the videos that have now been viewed (free or not) by Udemy users. Way to maintain integrit

Didn't say it was the right thing to do but that is surely up for debate though it is definitely a current design yes-yes. Personally, I like the card trend. It makes designing for responsive a bit easier and I enjoy the material looks

> The card layout is generally big no-no in design community. I disagree-- it would appear to be exactly the opposite if you look at current design trends (checkout dribbble.com), cards look to be a very big yes-yes in the design communi

Is there a way to try it for free? I find that I learn horribly via online tutorials and would never pay unless it was something I would actually use and learn from. Being able to trial the methods of teaching are fundamental to me ever spe

I've noticed this about myself. Mental distraction helps with pain. Really useful when doing long distance backpacking and trying to push out the last few miles. I would whip out my phone and type into my journal.

That you can't always look at a single metric as a basis for success? This is rudimentary analytics here. Is there a single person who believes making client side code heavy is the way to go? Do people really think user experience sh

My car doesn't turn off my lighter port when car is turned off and I'm not sure I'll remember to unplug it every time I get out of my car which could result in a dead battery. :/

Question for those of you with dash cams: What do you use and why? Seems like a ton of options available. Some expensive and some not. Many features to consider like storage limits, power source, integrated rear-view cams, etc.

I wish the non-obvious joke ones could be trusted. Some product categories are effected higher than others but in a few cases I've seen something like ~80% positive reviews are fake.

My experience has been different. I used a Cheesecake Factory Groupon once and was given a special meal that reflected the "value" of my Groupon. It felt like a complete rip-off on top of a restaurant that was already overpriced.
