This sounds sensible. Until you consider that almost all children in N.A. that are learning rely on Kahn academy & YouTubers to make up for the fact that their school’s can’t figure out how to replicate a great learning experience that

The future promise of real education was crushed by the relentless political fiction that actually runs education. So brutal. Thanks for doing what you can.

“As a person becomes more and more defensive, he or she becomes less and less able to perceive accurately the motives, the values and the emotions of the sender.” Such a great insight. The content of defensive communication isn’t a requirem

Genuine question: How is this clear? What lever could Zuck pull that would prevent this harm? From the research I’ve read the harm of social media is, almost exclusively, in the zone of what people post on it (ex: bullying) or what they are

This is such an excellent reflection, especially the iterative nature. “Yes but” is now a part of my toolkit to help me authentically unpack all the justifications that come to mind & convert them into learning. I’ve lead B2B SaaS reven

Thank you. This needs to be said & should be reported. If we want a world that isn’t massively hostile to devs, like it is for most companies, this is the kind of advocacy we need and I’d love to see more people in tech putting it out t

I’m beginning to see this more in terms of alignment to authority. A “hard charging” leader who thrives in the midst of conflict inspires a certain kind of tech worker who just wants to “cut through the bullshit and get real things done.” F

I’ve learned that in a job interview if you are too impressive relative to the team they don’t hire you. Seems no one wants to hire their replacement. Starting your own business is hard, but it is the next best option if you haven’t found t
