I don't have evidence but the timing speaks for itself - in the middle of a DDoS because of recent events they fire her. I'm not saying they weren't right in doing so, but it looks like they cave to blackmail.

Right now it looks like SendGrid fired her because of the DDoS they suffered a few hours ago. Once you can blackmail a company into firing someone like this .... I think it's dangerous for the company.

Unless the 25% that's done is exactly what needs to be done(bug free, tested, and you don't need to change it) I would rewrite that. Sooner or later changes will have to be made to that part and you'll hate every minute of it :) .

No it's not. At the doctor's office you should be told: "Don't fuck around with the machine. If you need to change the settings, come to me and I'll change it. You also have this hand-book of how to override, but if you do you might die." I

> Second, kids who don't know how to value their time who'll work like slaves for $2,000. That's not always the case - if you manage to work $2000 /8h/day/month in my country , you're already being paid in the top .. 10% programmers. Mo

Well even if sells go down to 35K / month or 30K .... but you only work 2-3h/ day, wouldn't that be a good thing ? You could then do something else in the rest of your time.

Well, looking at your website I wasn't sure what to do. Your step 1 is "enter unique name for your drop" - it should be : "upload a file to share" that's the main thing. I would make the upload file the center, take a look at ge.tt :)

"less than half of the contributions on Wikipedia originate in the US." I think they should look at it the other way around: "almost half of the contributions on Wikipedia originate in the US".

Damn do I know what you mean. I pull 20+ on consulting but it's getting to the point where it's affecting my health. I'll stop soon, probably go full time consulting so I can actually have a life. Best of luck.

For that list to have any significance you'd have to put it side by side with a list of people who didn't have faith . You would also have to remove many of the believers on the list because being a person without god in 1400 would probably

Well, thanks everybody for your answers, I see that it's a bit of a tie on what would be the best way of handling this. Probably I'll go somewhere in between and decide on a case by case basis.

I too use the book trick :) so to speak . Just 30 minutes of reading some SF before I go to sleep helps a lot. I then tend to think about the characters in the book or I imagine being on another planet :) . It really helps when I do that.

A node.js tutorial was also something that I was looking for, so thanks for that. If you have any more ideas both for beginners and advanced, it would be great.
