Just a note: academic biblical scholars (theists and atheists alike) make strong arguments that the author is NOT Solomon. The biggest issue is the complicated Hebrew used, much more complicated than earlier writings. "The presence of

I am amazed at the backlash on Peter for a rather considerate response to a crippling attack. He could have skipped the Twitter jokes but otherwise he did more than most businesses would do by providing a solution to these unexpected custom

Was going to say, great art, but is there only one object to pick up and use? I spent 5 minutes navigating rooms and mindlessly clicking and nothing happening until picking up one object and finally using it to solve the riddle. Any red her

Thing is that even with the limited market he has some 5 serious competitors. As bemmu readily admits competition is eating into his market. You name the niche you will see competition no matter how obscure.

I am still trying to find fundamental cryptocurrency developments in 2017. 2011 were the first steps in BTC usability. 2013 was the rise of alt-coins and also BTC became actually usable(mostly due to Bitpay and Gyft) 2017 it seems all specu

I remember when many alt coins collapsed in 2013/2014 one problem was that with miners dropping off, difficulty stayed. Many coins with longer difficulty adjustments couldn't get back to reasonable confirmation times. So let'

The scary thing is that IOTA is considered a top 10 cryptocurrency. The worst thing is that I can't find a useful alternative crypto currency that can be used stand alone (ie without converting to BTC) for e-commerce. Only choices are

I too was dissapointed at the 1GB of hash given to Stockfish. Turns out that there is a good reason for 1GB of hash : it is an easy way to get a high number nodes searches per second (ie high kn/sec) on many threads. http://

I love vue.js because it has made front-end development bearable for someone who has hated web front-end since 1995. A bit of apples and oranges comparison but writing Vue felt just like first time I wrote Python many years ago: FUN I write

Anecdotally, I know of a ex co-worker who CPU mined a few 50BTC blocks in 2010 and then misplaced the hard drive around 2012. He is not alone in this.

This is very similar to what I had to go through to recover a few BTC in my old Multibit wallets from 2013 this summer. I had the same problem of underpaying for the transaction because I had to sweep many small wallets. There are many old

I can't figure out the reason for this stingy 1GB hash memory limit when using 64 cores. It pretty much negates advantage of 64 cores vs say 4/6 cores. A nefarious suggestion would be that setting 1GB limit ensures that Alpha wou

Time and again Alpha shows it is much better at eval than Stockfish. Alpha play feels "human" at least to this FM. This is fantastic news! It is what I would imagine a good correspondence GM would play like with engine assistance.

What's the fastest option when you do need UDP? Generally I just use SSH, but for gaming i've resorted to 160bit OpenVPN. Incidentally setting up a OpenVPN server on dd-wrt is a rather hellish experience.
