The "sentinels" or whatever is what brought me out of it immediately. There are a billion planets to explore, but someone always got there before you.

I think these are just really common hallucinations that can be caused by a lot of things. I've had them when nearing heat stroke, but also from various substances. I write it off as brain doing what brain does best; over active patter

Aside from sounding "dumb as shit", I also think it's the completely wrong abstraction. Every time I've split up work between multiple specialized LLM "agents", they've done an WAY worse job than one monol

I've been trying to get my hands on one of these for years, but they were only ever sold in the US and Ebay was either just full of scalpers, and now full of grifters trying to sell a near useless device for ridiculous prices as a coll

Bluesky is a way healthier option. It doesn't have an "algorithm " that pushes unwanted controversial topics into your timeline for "engagement". It's who you follow and their reposts, and that's it. Breat

Clickhouse must be the worst named product in popular use. I know it's a DB, but every time I read it, it sounds like a marketing/Ads company for privacy invasive tracking.

I can't claim that I have any idea of how this model is built, but from their shifty excuses touching on "alignment" I'm confident that o1 is actually two copies of the same model, one "raw" and unchained that

In this case it is not, though. As much as I'd like a self-hostable, cheap and lean model for this specific task, instead we have a completely inflexible model that I can't just prompt tweak to behave better in even not-so-special

For as much as I would love for this to work, I'm not getting great results trying out the 1.5b model in their example notebook on Colab. It is impressively fast, but testing it on an arxiv.org page (specifically https://arx

The Stockholm Metro and public transport uses QRs, but on phones, and it's awful. The huge variance in people's shitty broken, dim phones make it take 3-4 tries sometimes. Infuriating! The scanners themselves are brilliant though,

I’ve been attempting to use the “official” function calling API for every new version of GPT they put out but it’s always a dead end. It seems only to be able to handle 4-5 functions at a time before it starts hallucinating parameters or st

Very interesting results, but to imply that this is some kind of security vulnerability is humorous to me. Trying to prevent “prompt injection attacks” is the equivalent of trying to string replace quotes out of your SQL query. mysql_real_e
