This could be a sign that business is not going well at Adobe. Overall the pirating of PhotoShop has likely been very beneficial for Adobe over the years as it has helped young designers who do not have money learn the tool before they are

I'm not endorsing this project but I take exception with your response. This type of project belongs on Hacker News and if we are going to take the time to respond it might as well provide more feedback than telling someone they are wa

I prefer to agree to NDA's but insist that it be mutual. Both sides get equal protection/risk.

IMHO the comparison is fair. The US is the largest oil producing country in the world. It just happens to also have to import oil because consumption is so high.

The trademark is in the public domain which means it can never be sold. A company such as Oracle acquiring Joyent (and thus owning NodeJS) is a very realistic possibility, if not inevitable. You don't need anyones permission to use &qu

I can't believe people are falling for this anti-email propaganda. Comparing proprietary messaging systems to email is like comparing coke to water. Coke tastes yummy but lets be honest, its has no redeeming value apart from short-term

This is a huge problem for the overall strength of the open web and Mozilla unfortunately is no less guilty of this. Many of the tools developed for FxOS are targeted for Gecko and wont run on other rendering engines. More and more it seems

Bummer, Terraform is also the engine that powers Harp & the Harp Platform. It doesn't appear this was very well researched before choosing a name. Confusion seem inevitable. https://github.com/sintaxi/terraform

That is unfortunate that this technology needs to overcome that stigmatism. There is no reason this shouldn't be used for legitimate purposes. This would be incredible for educational purposes.

It would appear so. This is essentially a browser that streams off torrent files. They will take plenty of heat none the less.

This is exactly how harp works. If you don't want to deal with configuration harp implicitly does what you just suggested. You can run it directly as a web server or compile your project to HTML/CSS/JS. It might be what you a

This has been many peoples first reaction when using harp but in all honesty, once people start embracing the harp way (using the `_data.json` files) for their metadata this request quickly goes away. We have seen this time and time again.
