If its running on your server, then you aren't distributing it. There are licenses like AGPL that do try to limit that usage but GPL does not. Now if it is a web app that has client code that gets executed in the browser, that is distr

You should investigate. At least $1.21/gal of that is going to the government. State/Federal gas tax + sales tax + regulatory fees and other regulatory fees. Also California mandates specific formulations which adds to the costs c

In this case you would pay. No FEIC if you don't pay taxes in the country where you earned the income. The UAE doesn't have a federal income tax and has no tax treaty with the US so several boxes are missing for FEIC.

Probably saves them time. You are not a soft target. What incentive do they have to add support when it only gains them access to more hardened systems that most likely are not vulnerable to their next phase.

But ISPs are generally expected to work within the TOS. Otherwise the customer could expect to recover damages for malicious actions. If GoDaddy wants to add new terms they should give notice. Violating their own TOS is a breach of contract

I googled (incognito) and see that I do remember them now. Surprised I am not in their audience list as I have read several articles about them and gone to their website a few times, in addition to having researched similar products.

I don't really know what Remarkable is. I might google them now just to find out. I don't think I am on their audience list yet, because I haven't seen many ads. But if they ever add me to an audience list based on some actio

No - Remarkable has a lot of control over how Google and Facebook target you. Maybe they could offer better tools, but those tools already let Remarkable remove you from audience lists after purchase, if they chose to do so.

Seems like a plausible explanation but how do you have any idea which species bit you in order to be able to draw a conclusion that there's a correlation?

Not sure why this author thinks this is all so recent. I hacked my first web API in 1998 and it was exactly like an API for an SPA but they didn't call it REST back then. The content type was multipart/form-data and the results we

I'm sure having a nation-state is a major factor, but I bet it also has to do with the average wealth, geographic location, historical alliances. However, I'd put my money on skin color as the biggest factor.

I think many believe that the dollar store preys on shoppers who may think they are getting a better deal, but don't realize that the unit price is not better for many items, and often in deceptive ways.
