I don't know about many . I don't know of any retail investors that do, and if I did I would have guessed that they'd be buying when prices drop, not selling.

Out of curiosity, homeowners, would you recommend it for someone young who hasn't settled down yet, assuming you could pay off the mortgage fairly quickly? Is there a lot of hassle in renting out an apartment using a broker, is hiring

I appreciate that one of the headline features is accessibility. I'm always worried that something I build won't be accessible and people will silently not use it.

Does anyone know the prices that Arm charges for its licenses are set? They occupy such a strangely powerful position in the global chip landscape. Similarly, how does TSMC set their prices? There don't seem to be any real alternatives

Does anyone have a preference between the various static typecheckers for Python? I.e. pytype, pyright, mypy, pyre? Ideally something that handles Numpy sensibly, is well documented, and doesn't require inline annotations (i.e. can use

I think it's still wild that neither Tensorflow nor PyTorch work on Apple's MBP GPUs - AMD can't run ROCm on anything but Linux, and NVIDIA drivers aren't supported if you wanted to get an external GPU.

I did the same thing. Food is amazing. I was eating my own food (not terrible!) and takeout for months in NYC before coming back home a few weeks ago. Also, I have 3x as much living space, tons of open green space to run in, and people to t

Can we talk about how slow it is? Literally the main reason I don't use this app (which seems so good for my use cases) is that it takes forever to start up on my phone. I can use it on my desktop but only because it's a fast mach

Nothing has beaten having a local Hugo server running (with a theme that has Katex and syntax highlighting). Note taking can be like blogging to yourself, and the flat markdown means it's easy to edit and search. I don't have the

Honestly, this looks terrible. Even though Windows hardware has gotten much better over the years, and Windows 10 is a much nicer OS, you can tell that the developers in their UI frameworks don't sweat the small details. All of the scr
