1 - Good points. There is a setting to require customers to confirm appointments via email. If not confirmed within 1 hour, the appointment automatically cancells itself.

The idea was to use a short domain name -- in order to keep the link shorter. A lot of customers probably would not even notice the domain name if linking from a company website. I suppose the same could be said about schedulicity.com, but

Suggestion: On your landing page, remove the definition for Twitter. Your users are already using Twitter, so they don't need a definition. It's probably more important to set focus on the "Slipstream" definition.

I found donation-based software does not work very well. However, I suppose it could work like a champ if you have millions of users. You're most likely to find that it'll create an increased need for support since you'll have more users. T

Fortunately, the average computer user doesn't know how to find and/or used cracked software. Personally, I wouldn't worry about this much. Almost all well-known software has been cracked. That didn't seem to stop them though.

After I started using gmail, 99.9% of my spam started getting filtered out. Now I can post my email wherever I like. It sure beats making customers jump through an extra hoop to contact me.

You could store an encrypted username and password, or a session id if you don't want to store the username and password locally. Storing the password locally is not the best idea, but it's easier than tracking a session id. http://fishbow
