Can you not discount a lot of companies like this? Google makes a web page (after all, that's where most of their revenue comes from), Apple makes just a phone (that's where most of their revenue comes from), etc and they are many

This is the blocker for me too. Support for a zero knowledge server where even if someone gets access to the filesystem on the server, they can only see it encrypted. Other than that, Syncthing is absolutely amazing!

And then deleting or moving the photo from the desktop afterwards. So, three steps as opposed to one. For a feature (drag n drop) that's all about convenience.

I use CLI for everything else, but not for day-to-day database work. Maybe the biggest reason is that with GUI tools, I can directly manipulate the data that I'm seeing in a grid. That's helpful primarily with the local/test
