I've built an app using Neo4j and have the same impression. Cypher is such a good query language. I wish I could use it over SQL in pretty much every situation.

Are any of these systems based on Prolog? I feel like the next great advancement will need to use the core concept of logic programming to some extent.

It might be a health thing. I notice when my health is poor I don't feel like doing anything. But after changing my eating habits and sleeping more[0], I have much more energy and motivation to do things I like. I didn't notice th

You might be approaching hooks suboptimally. `useState` should be used for simple values, different than the catch-all `this.state` from class components. How do you arrive at nested functions? Hooks have generally flattened my indentation,

Completely agree. If you're interested in giving insight into your own developer mind, I'm working on a social network to do just that[0]. The goal is to be the sweet spot between Twitter and a blog – short enough to jot down (as

The point I wrote is not merely that building solar creates pollution, but relative to its lifetime it may do more harm than good – in its current state of the art. In other words, a lot of dirty to get a little clean.

I hate it when people rationalize-justify this behavior of corporations. Look up the history around the Freedman doctorine. It wasn't always like this, and it doesn't have to be.

Mithril.js has global redraws by default. This turns out to solve practically all React's "local redraws only" problems & solutions, and requires less written code in the process.

Mithril is a true work of art. Rendering, routing, and XHR are all provided in a bundle under 10kb. All pure JavaScript with no compilation needed. Closure-style components that make React Hooks look wholly unnecessary. And the list goes on
