Very true. In a way this is demonstrating the tradeoff between cost, repairability and size/weight. The Neo is getting a lot of praise because it's all modular and screwed together. That should make it very easy to repair and also

The Neo actually has similar dimensions to the 12” overall, though not as tapered. That’s possible because it has a much slimmer bezel. The Neo is about a third heavier though.
