Well I like where I work, but the only problem is that the old people don't believe in naps. They prefer the 9-5 mundane corporate environment despite the fact that we're a startup.

Don't tell anybody this, but I always take a 15 minute nap in our break room after lunch everyday at work. It really helps me get back to focus for the rest of the day when I'm coding.

I followed this company when I got word that Paul Allen was investing in the semantic web, and was very interested in AI part of it. I just signed up myself for this, and I am actually pretty disappointed in the way they present and try to

The only other company that I know that does this is Whole Foods Stores. Each store has all the salaries listed up for all the employees to portray a completely transparent display of trust. However, i'm not quite convinced that it works.

I don't understand, don't they do load testing and profile their own code? How hard can it be to setup a single dummy server instance on some cloud computing platform and just monitor its performance as they stress test it?

On a side note, I love how Yahoo! totally gamed their financals by laying off 2000 employees the previous month to save costs and artificially drive up their valuation.

I always use something similar to this: http://designoutpost.com There's no limit on the amount of design revisions you can get - it's over when you're satisfied.

You know I used to want this keyboard a lot, but now I would happily settle for one of those super thin aluminum mac ones. This isn't quite in vogue anymore.

I remember signing up with these guys when they first launched. To be honest I haven't used them since (due to lack of flights to certain places), but they've certainly evolved a lot since then. Congratulations are in order!
