This bug is problematic for all those situations where the ssh protocol is not used for telnet-style command line, but as a transport. e.g. Git uses ssh as transport protocol, but github (and similar platforms) don't support direct use

I think I don't get the point. Real-time collaboration is something we have already (google docs, hackpad, ...). And besides, if it's true that it works only for IE, what's the point? EDIT: A guy in this thread told it works

Utopistically, how nice would be if the whole web provided no-javascript versions of the sites? In the end 90% of the cases javascript is used just to do fancy things, while actual functionalities could be achieved with much less pain (and

Anybody looked at http://www.dailydot.com/politics/flowchart-avoid-nsa-online/ (linked by Schneier in the blog post)? Isn't that a little drastic? The fact that my 4096-bit-gpg-encrypted mail has been stored

I think this is why, for instance, the Linux kernel is written in C and not in C++. And this leads to discussions on the Internet which are definitely funny! :D http://stackoverflow.com/questions/520068/why-is-the-

The fact is that there's a very huge amount of legacy code which provides irreplaceable functionality. What would you do if you had a complex data crunching library in C to be integrated into your program? Rewriting stuff from scratch

About that, recently I started to watch some videos about SELinux, and I tought it could be a good idea to use it for isolating some likely-to-leak software (e.g. Skype).
