its so weird to me to report a bug to open source but not atleast suggest a fix :/. especially around security bugs. to prove it u need to reliably trigger and exploit it so it should be plainly obvious in most cases what the fix is :&

i would add network packet sniffer and port scanner. not that its particularly hard programmingwise, but it teaches a lot about sockets, networking, reading rfcs/specifications and protocol diagrams. I found it really useful personally

in this case id also recommend goldsrc games. a) more info is readily available b) dedicated server u can run locally even on a potato no need to test against online folks, there's fine bots available.

32 bit audio is higher resolution, it can have effects applied to it in higher detail. like subpixel coordinates might more clearly specify a pixels colours... anything beyond 16bit (which is streamed to your speakers) is not audible though
