Facebook's Flux is pretty verbose and can be difficult to setup but similar libraries like Redux are very simple if you have prior JavaScript experience. React is also pretty simple when compared to libraries like Angular.

Not that insane considering many people are using things like Babel to run ES6/7 code. If you're already compiling that code to ES5 for production, there's no harm in also minifying things.

You can also just do Shift + CMD + G if you want to jump to a folder. You can also drag the Finder proxy icon to Terminal and it'll write the path to your session.

I personally haven't seen any new code being written in Perl during either my time in England or in the Bay Area. I don't really see a reason to use Perl when there are languages like Python and Ruby out there with easier learning
