Escalating on all fronts? Please elaborate how getting the US out of a major war has done that. I certainly won't claim that Obama's foreign policy is golden, but it was said 'empire'...which would mean invading and occu

That's what I mean about having some issues. I would have liked to see healthcare be more sweeping, better implemented. But the 'normal' recovery? What does a 'normal' recovery look like when the global economy is o

You have significantly nicer conservative friends than I do. It's been 8 years of racist, xenophobic bile from most of the conservatives on my FB feed, and several of their politicians (Ted Cruz) as well.

I really don't know how to take your comment...are you suggesting that precompiling and overriding the functionality native to CSS is easier than just using a handful of classnames?

Agreed, not to mention that to fight any notice in YouTube, you have limited options - as in, you are presented with a form that has radio buttons, of which none of the responses are 'this claim is without merit'. I've had to

Are you really referring to a tenant of Marxism to explain why some people have enough money to blow on trivial things in a night club and correlate it to some sort of future revolution? This isn't something new - 'Lifestyles of t

Playing games isn't new to the dating scene - among people who don't date well. This didn't start with texting - phone calls, second dates, rules about a certain number of dates before sex. All bullshit. People who play those

Of course, the tax payers are showing up and feeding everyone and staffing the place. So it's free money, right? No work involved at all. Not like he's doing a ton of work and creating value, then charging for it...or anything.

I was more impacted by the fact that every hour, on the hour, there's a pretty significant shift. Of course, 5pm is the big explosion, but pretty much we live our lives based on the clock.

I thought that, too, but by noon only 3% of Americans are asleep. By 11 pm most of Americans are asleep. So almost everyone is on roughly the same schedule. No deep analysis from me, just interesting data.

Well, I'm just going off of my gut, not real data. But I would have thought 33% of Americans still being in bed at 8am would be high. Of course, the service industry has more flexible schedules - but over the course of the day, by 11pm

So, if you are producing for fans who will never pay you for your work, is it worth it? We're not talking about purely artistic endeavors here, and the people who can do their form of 'art' without worrying about money are fe

This is what a great QA tester will do. Good devs don't ship code with known bugs - but they will miss things because they code to the feature/user story/known behavior. That's what their job is. A good QA person's

This is more accurate. Taking the Amazon example, there is literally zero financial reason that Wal-Mart could not compete with Amazon. None. Yet,so far, they have not even come close. The reality is execution, not deep pockets. And that
