Also the Pixel ones don't have it (or DP alternate mode), I think. This is why Nexus 5 is still the best Google phone so far.

Not caching... mirroring or vendoring.

I remember Android having an option for showing dates this way, but sadly it seems to be lost/misplaced?

To properly implement something like Ctrl+Tab for switching between tabs (assuming application has such a concept).

I would also expect/like that: HTML/CSS + Rust (no JS/GC). And running out-of-process. Add XUL as a bonus.

Probably still better than anything HTML.

Sometimes I find that disabling CSS in umatrix in addition to Javascript improves the site...

I disagree... but what I would do is use little endian, so the legacy machines need to byte swap.

But we now need a version with elbows.

+1 on all about main loops... but I'll prefer to have my stack traces instead of tail recursion.

It would be really helpful, if the OOM killer should be adjustable to kill non-overcommitting programs last (kill any with overcommit first). Then programs could be slowly fixed/improved.

For now, I agree, probably best to keep using it. But if turns out there is need to re-vaccinate yearly (2x again), the decision is not as obvious.

Maybe you would just have a (fixed) phone outside, forwarding calls/sms/internet to an internal device via fixed line. Wifi hotspot would have a password, so only trusted devices can connect. Maybe Apple devices can already do tha

+1 Agreed. Unless you can immediately see the problem from back-trace and local variables, stepping through with the debugger is often a waste of time compared to adding some logging.

Actually text is now a problem... The old way of ASCII only stream of bytes was much superior.

It seems that Ruby GC is conservative (1st google hit)? That pretty much means giving up on your GC performance optimization..
