A lot of new cars in Europe also have front, rear and trunk 12V sockets. I wouldn't buy one without at least two of those.

That's normal and a feature. Mouse pointer is driven by hardware input and rendered independently (was a hardware overlay in the old days) and is soft realtime (hopefully). Because the window manager is a normal process, operating asyn

Browser <pre supports tabs and defaults to the value of 8 (as is standard), so that shouldn't be a problem.

Does the old "good standard will have 2 or more implementations" apply here?

Imo the core of git is superior, but the command line interface of SVN is much better. Git is just horribly messy. The distributed stuff push/pull had a lot of work and improvements, but the work/commit cycle is just messy, at lea

I tried the e10s nightlies and it seems to be quite usable. The major issues is some tab confusion (phantom, unclickable tabs), many "new tab" after session restore and occasional problems with context menus. I did use Tree style

The c# build system (assemblies) is completely mis-designed for performance. I wish .net assembly modules were supported for separate compilation and link step.

Is it correct to use the Content-Type application/json on this? IMO: not. (I've just tested Firefox network view and it breaks the response display with syntax error -- there should be an option to select the format).

That looks much better than Australis (I _really_ don't like rounded tabs).

Neither it is in git. See the discussions about how rebased commits are often preferred.

Agreed. I could live with this change, too. To bad gnome shell ruined gnome usability in other ways, so it's no longer relevant.

All I want to know what happens if I kill -STOP any client. Doing this under X while clients had various grabs caused problems. Does Wayland fix this?

It would be nice to have a latency profiler that would dump stack traces (or break) when execution takes more than 0.1 seconds (or 0.01...) for both js and native/html and xul. Also, realiable support for "break on throw exception".

An understatement of the century. In 21st century, PDF is not suitable for mobile devices. I've read ebooks (ePUB) on my Nexus 7, but it's only usable for serious reading because I can increase the fonts without having horizontal scrolling

I have an opposite plan. Never run Windows again except under VMWare/virtualbox on Linux. If that fails, I will probably switch to Linux + Android + Mac exclusively.

Gnome shell breaking Alt+Tab is why I switched to XFCE / KDE and will not be returning until it's restored.

I have a Hero and it's like that. Part of the reason why it's so robust is that when it drops, it splits into 3 parts: the phone, the battery and the battery cover.

For me, HTC Hero is the most solid phone I've owned. I dropped it at least 5 times and there's nothing but paint scratches. At least 2 of my Nokias chipped the plastic at the corner on first drop (and not more than that). I'm looking for a
