Bitwarden (for me) is still a little clunkier in how it does things compared to 1Password. I find 1Password a much smoother experience.

Xojo uses a "modern" BASIC langauge, is visual like VB was/is, and works on macOS, Windows, and Linux. If you want to stick with a BASIC variant that is.

I don't think the celebs are going to be held accountable (and I don't think they should be) in any real sense. None of them had any real insight into how it was being run and I wouldn't expect them to have that knowledge.
