We use the Web Audio API, HTML5 Canvas (with PIXI.js) and MediaRecorder to render and play-back generative music videos on the client side. However, it turns out that MediaRecorder can only work in real time, so unless you have a reasonably

I also tried to hack together WebRTC headlessly a while ago actually! I looked at GStreamer and Kurento, but ended up using Janus instead. Anyway, turns out you can use Xvfb, essentially a "fake screen", to headlessly run GUI prog

One trick you learn as a dweeter is to write all for-loops as "fr" instead of "for", and then only adding the last "o" when you feel confident that the loop won't accidentally go on forever!

We looked at using ffmpeg.js too since we wanted faster-than-real-time and constant frame rate rendering. It's too slow though, so we went with MediaRecorder instead. Thanks for the suggestion on the export screen!
