I wonder if this will cause countries to abandon OSX & Windows in favor of open source software. The bigest takeaway from all of this is that you can't trust closed software that was developed by foreign corporations.

While it seems to be working, the worse they make him sound the more foolish they look for hiring him in the first place. They are just further ruining any remaining reputation they have for being able to keep privileged data secret.

The problem with all the denials is that journalists say "Google is doing X" and Google responds "We aren't doing Y" and everyone debates whether Y = X, Y is a subset of X, or Y is something completely different. I

I would imagine that taking care of one's children does not require constant interaction. If that is the case then one could WFH for 8 hours a day but space out their time so that they can attend to their children's needs as they arise.
