Isn't it the exact same size as the lightning earpods though? The spec does has analog audio, but I've yet to see it used (by apple or a third party)

Do you have a source saying that the analog over lightning is being used here? Because the slide I posted in my other reply says it is "digital audio" over lightning, which I assume to be true for both lightning earpods and this a

I had assumed it had a DAC since I haven't seen apple use lightning for analog audio yet. I could be wrong, but couldn't find any source for clarification (upon googling). This slide from yesterday seems to suggest lightning is be

The dongle: probably has a poor quality DAC, gets lost easily, and prevents the phone from being charged or tethered to a computer.

Once the payload is delivered, the return trip is faster and less energy intensive (due to less weight). Why couldn't the drone just return to the same or even a different truck? I'd assume there is more than one truck per city.

I was looking into the limits of compelled speech during the Apple v FBI situation earlier this year. IANAL. The courts have said that there are some definite limits on when the government can force speech. I'm not sure where a warrant

Journalism pieces do not require model release. The "questionable student loan repayment services" that used the image probably didn't pay Reuters and probably aren't using the photo legally.

If VR/AR technology takes off (as Facebook, microsoft, and Google believe it will), this provides a convenient, accessible, and cheap means to produce content. No specific use-case needs to be established yet IMHO.

Open source doesn't necessarily mean that you can put it on the device. I'm sure a lot of Yubico's critics would be happy with seeing the code even if it can't be flashed.
