You're downvoted but you're right. There are laws that protect the federation. If people really didn't want that, the laws would be abolished.

> As for the infrastructure, I'd posit that crappy infrastructure at high costs is largely due to corrupt politicians (ever hear of another place where money played too big a role in electoral campaigns?) and construction companies

You might have a point, but why would, for instance, iOS uses its own proprietary emojis if everybody that has Android cannot see them?

I'm not against emoticon even if I don't like, for instance, all the big emoticon that facebook uses, but I like using a few like :P or ;). My point is that it's should stay like it is currently with a combination of ascii sy

1. For someone that installed Linux From Scratch, I can say that it's really nice that most of softwares use that. It's maybe not standardized like POSIX or other systems, but it's some kind of standardized by default. 3. It

As I replied to chriswgt, I am not able to see any real use cases. All I see are features that look cool but no use case.

Ahaha lol whut?! Seriously, I'm asking questions because all I see are features but no real use cases that I could say that Reddis is useful. I think you may be a litle too defensive.

Interesting! Thank you for your answer. I have previously heard that people use that to do cache server for websites. How does that use case is covered by reddis? Also, what are other common use cases for reddis? Thank you.
