Something like this might be good for a smaller business with machines on-site. You could replace a rack of beefy heat generating boxes with a few of these and save on power+AC bills. From a data center perspective, I think it has some meri

I can't put a number on the amount of people I know who don't regularly back up their files themselves. One in particular lost gigs of precious photos during a laptop hard drive failure. A company whose mandate is to provide continuity of s

> "If I had a nickel for every time you told me to take out the trash when I was about to do it..." This actually happens a lot... and then you don't get the credit for doing it, because she told you to do it :/

It's great for this. I'd love not having to worry about replication for small side projects.

here's the version I came up with, based on one I did in python. It's very similar to jaysoo's - needs a call with no args to terminate the list. I'm curious if there's a way to do this somehow without the terminator. I'm not a JS expert by

There is also a project called Lettuce. It isn't quite as 'natural language' as Cucumber, but the added syntax isn't too much and is still quite readable.

My list is pretty much identical to this, aside from mongrel2 (looked at it briefly though). I'm loving flask + mongo in combination; they make prototyping webapps almost effortless.

It's not that hard to keep social identities separate. Don't add your Great Aunt Mildred as a friend on Facebook. If you really must, it's not like it's difficult to make separate accounts (annoying maybe, but not difficult). Or, don't use

I used to get this wrong all the time too. Mentally, I'd be thinking "ln -s source destination", where source was the link and destination was what it pointed to. Of course, that's completely backwards. 'man ln' on OSX didn't help either, s

Nicely done. I made something vaguely similar as a weekend project. Mine is a lot more minimal and focused more on just tracking things to watch. Perhaps I'll post it if i can find enough time to get it online.
