That's great for you (no sarcasm!) Where I live - in the city of Los Angeles, hardly distant, rural America - AT&T is happy to provide me "broadband" internet at speeds of up to 10mbps for the low, low price of $45

By those numbers, the average US driver (or passenger, I suppose) would die more than once per year... ;)

I think coming in to the office 1x / week would let you live quite a bit further away than coming in 5x / week. At least for me, I could do a 60-90-minute drive to work 1 day per week, but would not want to 5 days.

It depends on the category and retailer. My source (which I understand may not be satisfactory) comes from working at two of the biggest US retailers for a total of almost 9 years.

Perhaps, but Walmart (and many other retailers) do not pre-buy all the products that they sell.

Of course, if you read that literally, none of those things ("phone has a dead battery, or is lost or stolen") happened, and Tesla's screwup still caused a problem. (Note, both my wife and I own Model 3's and I own $TSLA

I hate induction stoves (cooktops) because they seem to hit intermediate temperatures by cycling the power on and off rather than having a continuous intermediate setting. (It's possible I've only ever encountered crappy induction

While it's true that funders should perform due diligence, diligence for fundraising still relies on an underlying need for the entity raising funds to be truthful. As an example, if you apply for a bank loan and falsify the applicatio

I live in LA now, used to live in Sunnyvale (right next to San Jose), and have made that drive both directions. In my Model 3, it takes 1 stop, for 25-30 minutes, at the Kettleman City Supercharger. Good time to grab a snack, use the restro

That's exactly my point. The station owners mostly aren't stupid. If it were a great deal (measuring by NPV), you'd see companies formed to raised capital and install charging stations at gas stations in some sort of revenue

If it were the case that allowing charging was an economic benefit to the owners of gas stations, I guess they'd already be doing it. Since so few of them are, I assume that it's not beneficial. If the government wants this, it sh

As someone who thought that that was exactly the reason I'd "never" by a Model 3, but then bought one and now daily drive it... I'll say that those things (speed, temps, trip odometer) rarely seem driver-critical to me.
