Fair enough, it sounds like your needs are very different from what Go satisfies. Just out of curiosity, what language(s) do you prefer to use over Go? > Eh no? I meant what I said. If the people who created Go wouldn't have been ab

Yes, this is what I'm excited about. You can write Go code and compile it to JavaScript. You could create bindings for Cocoa APIs in Go.

There are people who want their language to be as complicated and feature-rich as possible. They have lots of choices available, including C++1*, Java, Ruby, etc. Those languages probably don't have anything that has only one idiomatic

Has anyone else noticed the 4 or more tabs in a row layout bug in latest stable Chrome? https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=418268 It's interesting that it happens in .124 but not .122. D

That makes a lot of sense. If I look at any project I've contributed to, it always started out with something small. Taking the time to make a small PR that makes a tiny improvement: - shows you care about improving the project; you to

As graetzer said, I use GopherJS and WebGL bindings. For a simple example, see https://github.com/shurcooL/play/commit/cd45204c1b2d89062255... .

My current approach is to use Go and target WebGL as the lowest common denominator, but with OpenGL (and/or OpenGL ES) backends as well. That way graphics code written once can run on OS X, Linux, Windows, browser (including iOS).

I know that (it still does consume more than iOS 7 did, but not 6.9 GB of course). But it's pretty inconvenient to have to delete more than half of the contents of my device for the update.

"This update cannot be installed because it requires at least 6.9 GB of storage." That's over _half_ of the maximum available capacity on my 16 GB model. No wonder they're releasing 128 GB iPhones now.

I wish they'd invest in Go for the frontend. If a project like GopherJS can get as far [1] as it is now with just 1 person working on it for a few months, imagine if it had more support. And then you could use a language as nice as Go
