The cable looks cheap indeed, although otherwise you have the trouble of keeping it charged. But other wise "cheap"/simple look imo is a selling point.

But you were not typing a console command each frame didn't you? A spike of 0.X ms when you type a console command and hit enter won't be anything to worry about

Intrusive lists are not bad. Building one does not require heap allocation unless the object itself is heap allocated. I can imagine this being case for a list of console commands, just a bunch of static allocated structs in various places

And it is inferior since it lacks sponsor block. I have premium that I use on my phone and it is pretty annoying that pretty much each video still has ads in them in the form of a sponsor segment At some point I will probably cancel my subs

99.9999% of user base won't care about a few game Valve removed from its store. And they will care even less if they decide to not publish a game at all like they did in this instance. Valve is not really losing any reputation among us

Maybe? Generally bad UX decisions are opposed by more experienced devs, often because of the edge cases that are not considered by designers, while less experienced devs just do it.

I am not saying you need a turing machine, a finite one will do since we are also dealing with a finite analog system. If analog system is finite and has finite states that we can measure, then a finite computer will just do fine

But due to limitations of physics, nothing will be continuous. Is amount of water in a bucket continuous? No, you can count each individual atoms. So you can simulate that by using large enough integers. Same principle applies everwhere

Sure you can, you only need to simulate it to near some orders around the planck constant. And then you can go even further. Analog does not have infinite precision either
