There are various first-level responses "reacting" to OP's "negative feedback" with (what I think are) very reasonable suggestions (try this thing, try that thing, ask on forums, etc.) This is a sub-thread to the or

Uh yeah, that's sort of a BIG DIFFERENCE to hand-wave away. OP might as well have said "it's interesting how China's and UK's fertility rate is almost the same" while ignoring how each country got to that level

The code does check your browser locale of "en-US" and sets it to the "wacky" unit (Fahrenheit). Given that it's plain vanilla JS and only some rudimentary XMLHttpRequest, I'm not sure it can do much more?

I don't know if the snarky replies to you have actually read the PDF -- some of the EGREGIOUS grammatical errors should've at the very least set someone's spidey senses tingling about the legitimacy of the takedown notice (or

I agree, I love subtitles, and prefer watching everything with (English) subtitles, even films/TV shows in English. Mainly because of the same reason as you, and just to add, I also watch a lot of stuff that has strong regional UK ac

FYI, you can (could? I dunno now, don't use an MBP any more...) use Cmd+Backspace to simulate a Delete key. In my five-ish years of using a Macbook Pro though, I could never get used to this in muscle memory.

I'm a big fan of smart_open -- it makes moving stuff around in Airflow DAGs so much simpler, esp. with its transparent compression and S3 multipart upload handling. (which you can tweak, but comes with sensible defaults!) Also, I'
