It really does look like we need two forms of infrastructure in our society just like software, central and distributed. Atleast in the less developed parts of the world. I grew up in that part of the world too and our government completely

The appeal is it's hackable. Top to bottom. Pretty sure VScode is too but you can literally just write functions and get vim to do the things you want it to.

I've never had to read a large PDFs (probably, ~400 pages) but what's so great about Evince? Is it just speed or is it because of it's features?

Yeah it sucks that people who are using Rust as hobby can't participate in these conferences w/o coughing up big chunk of cash. But hopefully there are recorded streams available for these later.

Oh man this happened to me last month. I was even wondering how this guy had the exact same issue that I was having and only realized after a while that it was literally me who posted it. I eventually found an answer and decided to post an

Don't let battery drain scare you like it did to me. There is a workaround that alleviates that a little with deep sleep mode on. Although, not perfect it's bearable. Aside from that I've been a happy customer for a solid 5

I haven't run Windows in my Framework laptop so I can't really say if there's a difference but the issue in Linux was mostly because deep sleep wasn't enabled for some distros.

Most use it to access their home server that are not directly internet facing. Like how you access work servers through VPN. Same purpose really. Files, medias, apps etc.

Same here as well. From what I've found out is that, I know the problem space much better now, meaning, I know how some of it applies in real life and I can better visualize it now than when I was just trying to finding the right answe

I've had similar experience and eventually had to drop to print-lining for debugging. I do occasionally use gldv[1] which is IDE independent/frontend for delve though which gives me some hope on the debugging side w/o being t
