If you want me to be honest with you, LLMs are themselves a short term approach and can get us to, at max, AGI levels (for this current era). I don't see us getting to ASI with just LLMs. For the sort of "emergent ability" th

Even better is to just use Clickhouse (maybe Kafka if there are lots of inserts and async_insert isn't sufficient) and Postgres.

Which is why knowledge cut off date is important. I prefer if it is frozen to pre-ChatGPT-3.5. Anything post-ChatGPT-3.5 release date should be considered tainted - imagine the sheer number of articles generated by spammers who used ChatGPT

Not related to the post. I am genuinely curious. Does PG make his own titles? And why is it a gif instead of a regular text? I know the site has remained stuck in the 90s kind of web design and I quite like it. However, I fail to understand

It is 100% equivalent. You are saying we will censor A topic because it will hurt X race. In the same breath, you will not censor B topic even if it hurts Y race. That is hypocrisy. Everyone sees through it. Some may choose to be blind to t

The point I was making is not whether Russians feel mistreated or Asians feel mistreated etc. That is a separate debate. I am only making a limited point on "Lab leak theory was censored because it lead to rise in Asian hate crime"

That's a weird way to defend censorship of lab leak theory. Whatever floats your boat I guess. > At the time the US had a president that routinely used race-baiting as a divisive political technique What exactly did the US President

Okay and have these attacks stopped coverage against Russia in the US media? If the argument for censoring lab leak discussion is "attack on Asians" then why isn't coverage on Russia censored for "attack on Russians"

It is funny how you say it so nonchalantly that the reason for not discussing lab leak theory is it lead to "marked rise in violent attacks on anyone of Asian descent". However none of this applies to rhetoric against Russia, Midd

Samsung isn't really safe either. It is head quartered in South Korea with 2 really hostile neighbours. After Taiwan, South Korea could very well be China's next target.

Doesn't matter where it is based. Nvidia relies on 7nm N7 chips from TSMC for its GPUs. TSMC is based in Taiwan. Both at mercy of China - from trade routes going through South China Sea as well as raw materials being sourced from China

You just spewed a lot of bullshit but couldn't give 1 scientific reason for how 400,000 tonnes of rock were removed from a mountain. Nothing of what you said has literally anything to do with Kailasa Temple. Just a bunch of rubbish. We

Also it is absolutely ridiculous to compare alchemy with Vedanta. Vedanta is Philosophy that deals with metaphysics. It has nothing to do with Chemistry, let alone Alchemy. So try harder.
