It's also unfortunate that many iOS apps have totally neglected support for 4" devices and it's all too common to see apps in which the viewport is far too small due to other UI elements covering the screen (e.g. Uber and Goo

Haha thanks, I appreciate the compliment! I'm actually in the middle of a rewrite to make adding new camera types a lot easier and the code a lot cleaner in general. I wasn't aware that it was possible that you could request I-fra

What problems are you encountering with RTSP? I used GstRTSPServer for an open-source project ( https://github.com/shortstheory/adaptive-streaming ) and it's filled my requirements pretty well. RTSP clients on the o

I don't ever recall seeing a train driver in my trips on Singapore's MRT either now that I think of it. Is this relatively new technology? Some of the older trains on the North East and Downtown MRT lines are at least a decade old

The Oxford vaccine (ChAdOx1) uses another vector virus called the adenovirus to deliver the coronavirus genes which the body can fight against. The issue is that some people might have pre-existing immunity to the adenovirus, making the vac

From the limited data regarding the Tiger Lake benchmarks floating around, it could be just as much of a revelation as the Zen2 jump which you mentioned. The GPU is much more powerful than Icelake and the CPU seems to have benefited from th

This is something which I have become more aware of after reading "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" by Jon Ronson. I am now wary of posting any thoughts online which go against the tide of popular opinion. One of my takeaways

How much would the lack of AVX hurt performance apart from scientific computing? It's interesting to see Intel offering a chip with a clear focus on tablet computing, so the lack of AVX might not be so bad if the Tremont cores improve
