If Claude code is any indication it's because they can tweak it and dogfood to extract maximum performance from it. I strongly prefer Claude code to aider - irrespective of the max plan. Haven't used Jules or codex yet since I&#x

You can use your max plan ( https://github.com/grll/claude-code-action ) Currently in gray area but allowed as per anthropic comment on it - https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code-action/is

The TestFlight looks to be full but is here - https://testflight.apple.com/join/poWcaME5 It seems to be a different repo than the one you sent. You can use the regular iPad app from the iOS store too - but the XR vers

I was excited about trying o3 for my apps but I'm not doing this validation.. thanks for the heads up.

Yeah I kind of feel like I'm not moving as fast as I did, because the complexity and features grow - constant scope creep due to moving faster.

Gemini flash or any free LLM on openrouter would be orders of magnitude faster and effectively free. Unless you are concerned about privacy of the conversation - it's really purely being able to say you did it locally. I definitely do

Gemini is better than Claude in cursor, but in Claude coder I think Sonnet is better than Gemini (in cursor agent, can't use Gemini without the bridge or something else and I don't care about that case, may as well use aider or so

I actually haven't but nova from Amazon was surprisingly good at things like bounding boxes compared to some others You kind of have to test and measure so many different aspects to get the best at specific tasks Thanks for the ide

I'm surprised you landed on using o3 as the judge - we found it way too expensive. I use llm as a judge for generating color variations of products, definitely hoping for some improvements - it can be brutal to get non hallucinated fea

This probably came out to beat Google I/O or something similar - odd Friday release otherwise.

Cursor does something with truncating context to save costs on their end, you dont get the same with Cline because you're paying for each transaction - so depending on complexity I find Cline works significantly better. I still use cur

I'm excited for the improvements they've had recently but I have better luck with Cline in regular vs code, as well as cursor. I've tried Claude code this week and I really didn't like it - Claude did an okay job but was

That was ages ago. Their new models excel at many things. Image editing, parsing PDFs, and coding are what I use it for. It's significantly cheaper than the closest competing models (Gemini 2.5 pro, and flash experimental with image

I'm currently using agno after seeing Google and OpenAI both chose pretty much the same syntax for their agent SDKs. So far so good

Okay glad it's not just me - I've started using cline and was about to cancel cursor. Max mode spends a ton of money may as well use cline. If I could proxy Claude code through openrouter I'd be more open to testing it ...

I've been using Gemini pro 2.5 over Claude 3.5 in cursor all week - some people have Gemini do a prd and tasks and Claude do the actual coding. I switch between them but have been pretty impressed with Gemini. Gemini sometimes fucks up

Supermaven is very good if you're using VSCode and not cursor/windsurf tab completes - both of which are significantly better than standard.

Letting ai write most of the code (using cursor, windsurf, aider, or any similar solution). You go back and forth with the ai (or let the agent mode and MCP interactions) figure out any build errors / exceptions and resolve them.

100% agree with this, sometimes I feel I'm becoming too reliant on it - but I step back and see how much more ambitious of projects I take on, and finish quickly still, due to it.

What's the general time for something like this to hit openrouter? I really hate having accounts everywhere when I'm trying to test new things.

Have you tried cursor? I really like the selecting context -> cmd+l to make a chat with it - explain requirement, hit apply, validate the diff. Works amazingly well for a lot of what I've been working on the past month or two.

I use a small Linux vm to host cups with AirPrint setup - it lets us use my old laser printer that would otherwise be e waste. It's super neat. Except for when my wife has random issues printing. Then I fucking hate it.
