I can't believe nobody took vag.io. Then again, there's not much you can do with it due to the ridiculous rules on .IO domains.

This isn't surprising in the least. Anti-cheat clients are the worst, ever scummier than anti-virus clients. If anyone here has ever played a game that used Inca GameGuard, you know what I'm talking about. If you open a page in your web bro

In reality, that would end up being a disaster. What if a friend or family member turned on your computer to check their email or print their airplane flight pass? They'd give up after seeing the password prompt, and if they don't tell you

It's about time! Swype is about the only thing I missed from my old Samsung phone when I switched to the Nexus 4 (I was too lazy to go find the beta). The AOSP gesture keyboard is okay, but Swype is much faster imo.

This is all relatively minor, presentation-related stuff: - Parts of your website are unreadable when I tile my browser (Firefox) so it takes up 1/3 of the horizontal screen space and 100% of the vertical screen space. The "Open Source Free

Sorry for the late response; I don't usually check threads. According to someone I asked on IRC, House of Cards apparently airs somewhere offshore (I think it was Germany), but that is where the non-webrip episodes are coming from. It also

I can't believe that DRM is even on the table. It's ONLY purpose is to prevent third parties from accessing content, which is pretty much the antithesis of the web and open standards. For me, what it all comes down to is this: HTML5 is supp

I don't know what the original quality is, but for TV, there are usually 2 or 3 release formats (excluding webrips): standard quality (about half the height/width of 720p), 720p, and 1080p. The standard quality and 720p are usually posted a

I don't mean to be disparaging, but HTTP status codes have been well-documented. The only issue is that they are used poorly/incorrectly so often. If you can't use HTTP status codes properly, then you simply aren't in a position to subjecti

The problem of bad peers exists with BitTorrent as well, but it's not very effective unless you have a lot of IPs to spare. I found https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpls/abs_all.jsp?arnumber=434346... to be an interesting read.

Not much has changed: there are still a bunch of hurdles holding back the average user. Those issues are still around today, and especially for newer hardware. The biggest problem IMO is the graphics. On my laptop (a Dell XPS I purchased in

I doubt it. Most people go to a university to get a piece of piece of paper that says they made it through. For most people, unis are just modern-day trade schools. Unless MOOCs can offer something that people will take seriously (i.e., a d
