There used to be brain wallets which were private key derived from a password. A lot of those got brute forced back in the day

I'm in the same boat, every time that I have to use Windows I'll get annoyed by how complicated even simple things are. Not to mention the endless amount of menus and setup wizards you have to click through to get anything done.

There are alternatives provided that you don't need video. Mumble and Teamspeak have a proven trackrecord on all platforms and work even with the shittiest of internet connections.
