Design patterns are just a repetition of the golden rule "don't repeat yourself" (when they're not they're antipattern). Maybe the functional developers don't need a book to teach them how to walk...

Saying without examples is a pedagogical nonsense, I can't argue, because I agree. But if I provide the two typical examples Hom(A,) and Home(,A) and how they transport the arrows it starts to click. There is also List which is a covar

İ prefer to say that show tree violates the abstraction. You can have s1=s2 but not f(s1)=f(S2). So f (show tree) is not a real function (or = is not a real equal). But showtree is a debug function, it doesn't count. İt's like say

You're just reducing my idea to a specific case. You missed the generalized idea.

> Functor = context for running a single-input function No a functor is a "function" over types that can transport the arrows: (A -> B) -> (F A -> F B) for a covariant functor (A -> B) -> (F B -> F A) for a co

> If you want to tweak a commit Here we are. You can't tweak a commit in git. You want to recreate a new one. That's why UX is awful, because there is a permanent confusion about what git does.

I believe in aliens. I don't believe they have already visited us, but I believe they exist in the Universe. Thinking that we're alone in the Universe sounds so crazy.

The latest version is 4.14.0. Personally I write my Makefile myself and use them to build my projects. It works perfectly.

I see, you made the beginner mistake with OCaml. You should never read the OCaml error message except if all other options failed. Try to not read those messages, but just look at the line where the error occured. You can use -annot or -bin
