Hey Grant, I saw your news:yc app in Installous and see that it was submitted by you (chpwn). Usually when app-authors submit their own apps to Installous, it's to deter pirates by shaming them and disabling the whole functionality of the a

Nah, just a contingency plan to scare em off for a few days while you find new parking. Most thugs aren't going to risk their lives for a $30 parking ticket. They see a gun and they'll leave you alone for a little bit. Don't be surprised to

This is nothing unique to India btw. Check out all over east Africa for example of people who've done well in first world countries or just moderately well but have drive and ambition to start something back home. Common tale to hear about

This is Lulzsec for the record, has absolutely nothing to do with Anonymous. It's an actual group with members and not 'everyone from the internet' like Anon. These guys have quite the history as well. Owned Fox pretty well recently and Son

On that line, by far the most intriguing and fascinating structure or relic from ancient human history is the site at Göbekli Tepe[1], in modern day Turkey. Shakes up pretty much every theory and timeline we have constructed on how humans p

Meh, I don't really consider all the camwhores on /b/ and the new /soc/ to be cp really. It's when they start to have really small or no tits and larger head to body ratio sizes - 12ish and under - that you're in cp territory. This is true

Minor correction, there is very little cp posted on /b/ anymore. You'll find that stuff more freely on other spinoff chans, but rarely on /b/ specifically anymore. It's a lot more tame tbh.

Until you all get better and _more_ curated metal, this is a no show for me and the huge metal fanbase you all should be targeting. To click on Metal and have one channel 'All Metal' is pretty bad. Do you all need curators in this field?

If it's anything like the CR-48s, it'll have a decent sized SSD. I own a CR-48, and I believe the capacity is something like 80 gb, but I can't confirm right now. It's very fast to boot. Basically instant, I open, it's booted.
